BurgerWorks: first Rehearsed Reading

Last week, The First Slice Writer’s Program wrapped up its period of learning and developing for the new playwrights, and presented their work at Actor’s East, Dalston. With a cast of actors and a director, the playwrights, including Rio, was able to get in person feedback from a live audience on their works-in-progress.

Rio presented the first act of their play BurgerWorks. They hope to use the continued support, feedback and momentum to finish the full length play before 2026.
