First Slice Writer’s Program

Fruitcake Productions introduces their first writer’s program, and Rio has been accepted as one of the new playwrights. In the coming months, Rio will benefit from personal mentorship and feedback, private playwriting lessons and weekly writer meetups to facilitate the writing of their first full length play.

The First Slice Program also offer a showing at the end of the period, The First Piece, where Rio’s work will be presented to an audience for the first time.

«This offers a unique opportunity to really sink my teeth into a piece of work, and to learn the skills of a playwright in the room with other likeminded people. I hope to build a framework of rutine that I can lean on moving forward, to serve me for the rest of my writing career.»
